I’ve just booked tickets for the big apple in six months.
What a glorious weekend… The Packers beat the Lions, I got to eat some good, deep-fried Turkey, and best of all, I got a good amount of my X-mas shopping done during the sales over the weekend. I swear, I don’t even know how many DVD box sets I bought this weekend. Let’s just say everyone in my circle of friends can now watch an entire season of a couple of good shows.
It’s kinda sad that Thanksgiving doesn’t really matter anymore. Well for me at least; since it means eating turkey, watching football, catching up with old friends, and spending lots of money. But oh well… I think Thanksgiving lost its value or meaning right when everyone realized that they’re teachers and text books have been lying.
The native doesn’t look too sure… He has every reason to be suspicious.
